Posi in IFS Dana 30
« on: May 20, 2019, 06:49:25 PM »
I'm regearing to 3.54s with an 8.8 swap on my SX/4.  I know there used to be a thread where someone put a Dana 35 locker in the front with some modifications since it's C-Clip, not E-Clip.  Since the thread was lost, does anybody have pics or remember what all had to be done? My motor and front axle come out in a couple weeks and I'm trying to have as much ready for the swap as possible. I want a Posi not a locker for driveability reasons.  Modifying a Dana 30 posi might also be an option but I know the 35 carrier has been done.  Thanks!
