I'll keep this short, I'm tired and wrote out a whole report and mistakenly erased it. I went to Arches National Park in  Moab today. Here are some teaser pics. I'll post the details and some more pics in a few days.

Beautiful pics but man that last pic  :o *gulp* ...nope, don't think I could do that one. It looks like it could rattle so many things loose plus your teeth.

I would have gone down it, but I was worried I wouldn't make it back up if the trail got impassible for me later on.

Here a couple pics from today. I met up with Paul, Strike Eagle, and we did some wheeling around Idaho Springs. I'll get the rest of the Moab and CO pics up in a day or two.

I made it home safe without any issues. I usually stop in Blue Springs, MO as my halfway point, but decided to go straight through. I did get a couple hours sleep in a rest area. The car ran great.

Did you have to do any trimming to get the 225/75s on there? I might be better off looking into the 215/75s.

Glad you made it home safe.

Arches is such a cool place, as is everything around Moab.  Did you take the road from Moab along the river up to Cisco to get back on the highway?  That's such a fabulous drive.

No, I didn't know about that road. I cut my time in Moab short because when I was having trouble going up one of the obstacles, I backed up to get a better line and noticed fluid on one of the rocks. At that point my brake pedal went to the floor. I popped the hood and saw brake fluid dripping out the back of the master cylinder where it meets the power booster. No one in Moab had a MC, but a store in Grand Junction did. My plan was to swap the MC in a parking lot in Grand Junction. However, the brakes felt fine and there was no evidence of anymore fluid leaking. I made it home without any brake problems and actually the brakes felt better than they had in a while. Weird. I replaced the MC yesterday and still have some bleeding to do.

Looks like a great trip! I love the AMC logo on the roof rack, I might do something similar with mine.
