Title: 81 Wagon Denver LKQ
Post by: vangremlin on February 02, 2013, 05:49:50 PM
I found an 81 wagon at the LKQ junkyard in Denver near 32nd and Peoria.  You can see by the pictures its in pretty rough shape, but I grabbed a few things which I'll be posting for sale.  It was an early 81, so no shifting into 4 wheel drive.

Just 1 flare? Interior trim?  Mirrors I can use if they aren't too much.

Looks like it's still wearing a dealer badge.  You might want to save that for history's sake.

Captspillane will be all over that side window trim if you save it.

Wonder if the roof rack parts could be used on my Kammy. PO painted them black.

The dealer badge was not from the original dealer but from a used car lot.

I did grab the side window trim and sent a PM to Captspillane but he hasn't had a chance to respond yet.  That stuff is riveted on, I had to use some ingenuity to get it off due to the small selection of tools I had lol.

I don't think the wagon parts would work well on a Kammy.  I do have a Kammback roof rack if you're interested.  Let me know.  Thanks.

Amen to that my friend.

Thanks for the save, Dave.

The headlight buckets look to be in good shape. Those should be saved.

I believe the driver side was busted up, passenger side looked good.

Is that a honey interior? Does it have the cargo cover? I've been looking for a good honey color cargo cover for ages now.

No cargo cover in this one.  Sorry.

I am sure Dave would have snatched that up long ago.

Thanks.  I try to save as many unique parts as I can, but it often comes down to a matter of economics.  I've spent over $150 on Eagle parts in the last 4 days, and I'm happy to do it to help out other Eagle fanatics.  But there is a limit, and also, there is a limit to what people can afford to pay for shipping etc.  So I save what I can, and if there is something in particular that people are looking for, like the wagon rear window trim, I'll try to grab it if I run across it.  Eagles have been pretty rare in the junkyard for the last couple years, but I've run across a few recently.
