Title: removing front differential cover
Post by: eagleman on May 15, 2012, 09:16:47 PM
Hey guys gotta question.I want to change the fluid in my front diff.Did the rear one last week and I took the cover off, sand blasted it then primered it and repainted it and then reinstalled it.Would like to do the same with the front cover but it appears like it will be a challange to remove.Question is can it be done without having to dismantling half of the car?

Tried that too, the bolts are rusted tight in the through and through holes and wouldn't budge.
Anyone have the golden tip?

I don't believe mine are rusted tight its just getting to all of them.Don't want to get half of them out lose my seal and then find out I can't get the rest of them out without major teardown.

I drop the hanger on the passenger's side, but I don't have a rust issue.
