I think that it is quite a rare item.
I started to search new valve cover to replace that leaking plastic thing as soon I bought this black Eagle. It was almost nine years ago. I tried to buy this though finnish dealers for some years. No luck. Then I discovered ebay some 6 years ago. No luck untill now.

I´m going to have it powder coated, so it looks like plastic one.

A  little splash of AMC blue on the lettering would really set that cover off from the rest. Nicely done.

Very nice! Btw Juhap, I was wondering if you had any tricks to cutting out rusty metal for weld prep? I'm just amazed by how you get pieces like the floorboards to look like they were never there!

Cutting is sometimes the most time consuming job to do. I use only angle grinder and different type of shears to do that job. In some cases I use spot weld drill and air chisel. If needed I cut in small pieces, carefully not to destroy anything.

Metal shaping needs careful planning and time... and finger tips if you aren´t careful enough...  :censored:

Ok, I use an angle grinder, I guess it just takes a lot more practice. Now that you mention it, an air chisel probably would come in handy. Just got done cutting out most of the problem areas in my SX/4, it didn't turn out too bad.
