Change of plans!     Unless something changes, I will NOT be driving to Rhode Island.  I will not be able to meet Ken & Paula because of unforeseen circumstances.  I WILL be driving to the Eagle Nest Meet, so I will have more time to visit 'Nesrers on the way there.   If you are not far of the main highway, I can take time to meet you.  I will still be taking the route that was originally planned.    I will try to post photos and log my daily travels here on this thread......Rich

I am not going to Rhode Island, but I am going to North Salem Ohio to visit relatives before the meet.

Day two:
I got as far as Kingman Arizona last night and slept in the Wal-Mart parking lot:

I went next door and had breakfast at my favorite restaurant- Cracker Barrel:

I am at McDonald's in Williams AZ.  I got a few photos of the Grand Canyon Railway:


The area around Williams/Flagstaff is very scenic and beautiful:

google maps doesn't give me a N.Salem, just Salem. That's 20 minutes away.
mapquest showed a north salem twp. Off of I-77, at salt fork state park. Is this the one? Not too far of a drive for me...
