REAR WINDOW ELECTRIC
« on: March 04, 2011, 02:51:08 PM »
Switch is non-op.  Wiring is good, and window operation is good per jumper wires set-up outlined in shop manual.

Want to hard wire door connections as if switch was there so that I can operate window from driver's door switch.  Can't figure out how to connect wires as if the switch was there [no switch - no work from drivers switch].

How do you know the wires are good?
They like to break in the moving part between door and B-pillar.
I had to replace three of them.

I am also thinking it is in the wires because i have a bad switch in one of the rear doors of my wagon but the master control on the driver door still functions that window

I know the wires are good per jumper wires set-up outlined in shop manual - thus, the window works using the hot wires at the switch.

As I stated, I want to hard wire door connections as if switch was there so that I can operate window from driver's door switch.  Can't figure out how to connect wires as if the switch was there [no switch - no work from drivers switch].

Iowa,  Need a heads-up on how to find that.  I entered "electric window schematics" under search with Eaglepedia checked.  Got 'No results'.  Please advise.
