Many of you may remember this in AMC's In The Media. I was watching Mythbusters 'Alaskan Special'. They couldn't find a facility in Alaska, so they resorted to Wisconsin.  :amc:

They chose to use two Eagles. There is an 87 or 88 Eagle Wagon (I can tell by the aluminum valve cover) and an Eagle Sedan (early 80's sedan).   :-\ This episode pisses me off.   >:(

Watch with caution. :-[

The sedan looks like an 80 model to me. I don't know how fast it was going, but that wagon took the force of the hit well. For anyone that's seen the full episode, did they explain why they used eagles,'or did it just look like a "normal" old car to them.

I think they did.  What is even sadder is that it all took place on AMC's old proving grounds.

many of us vowed to never watch that show again.  When it first aired it generated a lot of discussion at various sites about how they rigged the whole thing.

Yeah, I seen it also. Was tired of football so I was channel surfing and found this. All though I new about it I had not seen the entire show. I guess I must have been pretty vocal because I woke the wife with my rant. Ya know I used to like that show. What a waste of good eagles or at the least some mighty nice parts. Why couldn't they have used a old chevy or ford? There were hundred's of thousands of those. Duh!!!!
Turkeys walk.Eagles fly!!!
