Ignition not locking
« on: September 27, 2015, 09:18:24 PM »
I have an '84 Eagle Wagon that I just got running. Its an alright car, and it runs pretty easily. In fact it starts so easily you don't need a key, and I cannot get the cylinder into the lock position on the column. I was wondering if there was a switch, or a button I had to press to get the key to be able to turn in and out of that position.
I probably sound like an idiot for having to ask this, but I genuinely have never had a car like that and I know my brother's Grand Prix had one. I was definitely hoping one of you guys could point me in the right direction here.

There is a lever you have to push down that's just forward and below the key hole, it allows the key to go to lock position.

Alright, thank you. I'm really sorry for having to ask such a trivial question.
