Title: oregon beaches
Post by: eagle503 on April 14, 2011, 03:30:02 PM
So here in Oregon you can drive on some of the beaches. Now that I've got this thing running and road worthy I figured we better get down there.
Power steering test..

Great sunset! I posted a video of this on the Eagles Nest facebook page http://www.facebook.com/pages/AMC-Eagle-Nest/125673284130443

"stuck" :hello2:

So here it would appear I am "stuck" ~well the problem was the 1/4 tank of gas and a carter carb. It died and would not start until I got it back on flat ground, then no problem.
   all in all a good trip a couple bugs that I expected but it did good for a car that hasn't run in almost five years.
Getting it out to stretch its legs did a lot of good for the motor it is sounding better~ not so rough but still seems to be lagging it takes all she's got to get up to speed 0-60 in about two minutes if I floor it it chokes and dies I have to ease into it .
Still more work to do but count it as back on the road!

No worry's she got a thorough spray down at home! My buddy in the gmc came out with us just in case something happened, He has a lot of work into his truck so I wont tell him you picked on it.
