New guy to AMC, have had lots of different vehicles that I have tinkered with. Just picked up a 1983 SX/4 Sport. It is in pretty good shape, original paint still shines. Lots of oil all over the place. PO had a new valve cover replaced it hopefully stop the flow of oil. Replacing pitman arm and will get aligned next friday. Just keep going from there.
My location is North Idaho

Sorry Kippnidaho, I haven't been on here in a few days. I just saw your question to me. I'm in Boise. Unfortunately, I sold that SX/4 to a kid in South Dakota several years ago. One of the few vehicles I regret selling. I'm building a wagon that will put that one to shame. 401, 727, 219, 44, 60, 33" Goodyear Duratracs, heavy trimming, low lift...
